Went down to Steubenville to see our next years girls team play 4 games. Let me say this, they will be fine next season. This group has learned from a very successful template. I was very impressed.

Their strength is defense. They get after it. The offense will come as they jell together. This will not be a down year. I initially predicted a .500 season but they could better that. 12-8 is realistic and if things fall their way, it could be better. This is a hardworking team.

By the way, we beat little red again on Sunday. It was a very spirited game with tremendous intensity. Phil coached like heck to win but . . . they just do not have the talent. They relied completely on thuggery to keep the game close. We won by 8.

To the woman who chastized me at the softball game for calling little red the 4th street thugs, some things are not going to change.

The dirtiest player in the valley shoved Kiara Kamarec to the floor with 40 seconds left, got a technical and was thrown out.

It was a pathetic display of sportsmanship. This school is disgusting.

This coming seasons little red is nothing but thugs. Yuk.
